About

Bela

no imageThe one who keeps this band working. Scheduling rehearsal, booking gigs, loading, unloading and loading the van again, setting it up, breaking it down, printing the song lists, keeping track of finances, keeping Coors Light in business......oh and plays the drums.....

Tommy

no image The only single one in the bunch...AKA...Tommy Martin, the funkiest white boy in town, with The Heaters since 1996. At his best doin' James Brown, he covers many popular rock-rhythem & blues tunes. Did I mention he's single ladies? And the only one who boasts about wearing an Orange Jump Suit on tour in the good ole days. (ok...try not to picture it) Fellas, next time your at a gig ask him to recall some stories from his touring days... Ladies, see if you can arrange a ride on the back of his Marauder (though I've never been there) I hear he gives a good ride!!

Dave

no image Chiming in on tenor sax and vocals is Dave Laurey. A Utica native, Dave has been in the music business for more years than he wants to admit, but still manages to show up, stay awake, and kick some butt . He's shared the stage with many a talented group of musicians over the years, and for him, sounding good and having fun should be in the same place at the same time. Dave enjoys listening to Tower of Power, Toto and the sound of misguided grasshoppers hitting his windshield. He loves Saratoga in the summer, battery operated wool socks in the winter and the Three Stooges all year 'round, every minute of every year. He also is a fan of anyone who can catch a snowshoe rabbit in a dark auditorium. Obviously, life is 20% serious and 80% fun for him.

Mike

no image Holdin' down The Heaters bottom end since the beginning (I think) or damn close to it. A man of many basses (or is it faces?) a Tobias 5 string, is one of his favs. (pictured right a Pedulla 5.) Found himself on a stage at 16 (then playing Trumpet) and he's been there ever since. Did I mention his big rig?? Be sure and ask for a close encounter!!
